Embrace your power…
A quote by Marianne Williamson:
“Our deepest fear is not that we’re inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond all measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? Your playing small doesn’t serve the world!”
I give you this quote today to remind you that you have the power to create great things. Often we put our power on hold because we are scared, we are waiting for the perfect moment (it doesn’t exist!), or possibly both. It is normal to doubt yourself but you can’t become paralyzed by your fear. I was once told that “fear is nothing more than false evidence appearing real.” Don’t shortchange yourself by giving into false evidence! By evidence I mean your past experiences. A failure in the past does not determine future success. Everyone has failures; it’s what helps us learn. I am happy for every mess up because it has taught me what not to do or what I don’t want. Focus on the times in your life when you accomplished something great and don’t confuse falling with failing!
